How many times have you thought this? Get your message across, and raise more money.

Thirty-five years of fundraising letters…writing, teaching, editing and coaching …have taught me that many organizations need help developing a compelling, effective fundraising letter. Let me help.

We’ll infuse your letter-writing with energy. You’ll end up with a great product: a letter you can use immediately and adapt for many audiences. A letter that is entirely about your organization, mission, needs. A letter that gets results.

Great letters need to be sent to the right people at the right time. We will work together to maximize the value and effectiveness of your letter. We’ll make the best choices: mailing lists, timing, visual impact, and voice.


How to get started?
We talk by phone or e-mail and design a fast turn-around contract for your letter. You provide me with information on your organization and current needs by completing the simple Letter Prep form. Return your contract with the form and 50% deposit and you’ll have your first draft within two weeks…sooner if you arrange it with me in advance. You use the draft with your in-house or production company printing arrangements. The letter is exclusively yours.


Fees:
A single letter, in two versions for different audiences, will cost you $750. It comes with written recommendations about using your list and timing, based on your needs. Once I get to know your organization, future letters will cost less.


Options:
If you want additional help, you might consider adding these components to our contract:

    1. Adaptations for donors at different levels
    2. Design of your giving clubs
    3. Drafts for the return envelope and other inserts
    4. Timeline for mail drop, follow up and reporting
    5. Draft of basic thank you schedule and letters
    6. Related follow up letters.

Call me, or e-mail, to determine your needs. There’s nothing mechanical about this process: I believe in letters that speak from the heart, touch your reader, and raise money.
